Labour Party Has Achieved 85% Polling Unit Registeration So Far - Ndi Kato

Contrary to what the Labour Party described as fake reports on the social media, the Party says it has achieved 85% registeration of its polling unit agents across the country.

The Senior Special Assistant on media to the National Chairman of the Party, Ndi Kato disclosed this in a press statement on Thursday.

According to Kato, the party having achieved 85% for the electoral process at the polling unit stated that the party is ready and full steam ahead for the elections conduct.

It would be recalled that in a series of tweets on Thursday, Kato had accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of reneging on its earlier plan to end the uploading of polling unit agents on the 20th of January 2023 and instead shutting the portal on the 18th.

However after a public outcry by officials of the Labour Party, Kato herself confirmed that the portal has been reopened by INEC to enable the labour party complete the process of uploading names of polling unit agents which the party said had started but was delayed by the slow processing speed on the INEC website.

The leadership of the party therefore called on all Nigerians to vote Peter Obi as the Presidential Candidate and all other Labour Party Aspirants to achieve a better Nigeria.
