Bandits’ attacks in Katsina state.
Katsina state government has decried the activities of informants in some parts of areas hits by bandits’ attacks in the state.
The secretary to the state government Alh Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa made the disclosure in Danmusa town while launching the distribution of relief materials to the victims of bandits’ attacks in the area.
Inuwa explained that the state government is checking the excesses of informants in the states that jeopardized the peace dialogue initiated by the Masari’s administration.
He said Tracker machines were also provided to help security agencies in tackling the menace of banditry, kidnappings and other social vices.
While noting that government will not tolerate any mishap that lead to reoccurrence of banditry in the state, the SGS added that government will go tough on those who fail to respect the dialogue.
He then seeks for more cooperation from the Fulanis and farmers by providing vital information to security agencies that will help to curb the menace of insecurity in the society.
