Adopt Dialogue as the only Lasting Option, FCT Commandant, Peace Corps Begs Nigerian Youth
The FCT Commandant of the Peace Corps of Nigeria, Patriot Peter Obaje has called on Nigerian Youth to halt the ongoing nationwide protest and adopt dialogue which is most reliable as an option to drive home their demand.
The Commandant made the call in Abuja while reacting to the outcome of the nationwide protest that went on in most states of the federal on August 1st.
He stressed the need for constructive dialogue to resolve the demand of the protesters.
While admitting the harsh economy reality confronting Nigerians at the moment, the Commandant admonishes Nigerians particularly the youth to be patient with the government and also maintain restrain from being used by state Actors. According to him, any action that is capable of affecting the peace of the country should be avoided at all cost as no nation can develop under a tensed atmosphere.
The Commandant asked government to prioritize the demand of young people by meaningfully engaging them for them to be productive to themselves and the nation.
