National Assembly Praised for re-introducing Nigerian Peace Corps Establishment bill

The FCT Commandant of the Peace Corps of Nigeria, Patriot Obaje Peter has expressed his profound gratitude to the leadership of the 10th Senate for the introduction of the Nigerian Peace Corps NPC Establishment bill before the Senate on 30th April, 2024.
The Commandant while speaking in Abuja described the introduction of the NPC bill as timely and a sign that the current National Assembly is serious about ameliorating the plights of the unemployed Nigerian Youth and at the same time strengthen the security architecture of the country.
He express optimism that Senate will soon concur to the bill after which it will be on the table of Mr. President for his assent.
He added that the NPC bill will no longer pass through the rigorous legislative processes at the Senate, he urges the Senate to concur to the all important legislation.
He also expressed confidence in the ability of the National Commandant, Dr. Dickson Akoh in piloting the organization towards actualizing it's goal of achieving presidential assent for the Nigerian Peace Corps.
